Bandwidth

WANmax handles inputs from 512 Kbps to 45 Mbps, with the particularly favorable return-on-investment data between 1 Mbps and 6 Mbps.  Customers with T1, bonded T1, DSL and satellite connections will find WANmax to be particularly cost-effective, although, depending on the application, higher-speed applications can be equally cost-effective.  In many cases, net throughput can be expected to increase 10x or more, depending on the data composition. 

Deployment

We deploy WANmax using rack-mounted devices when multiple users are in the same location.  Individual remote users simply install WAN max on their laptop or desktop.

WANmax is available as a managed service with minimal upfront costs, or as a fully-functional, customer-owned solution.  In either case, we provide turn-key service, including an initial assessment of your network, installation, training, and customizable service agreements.

Network Appliance Consolidation

WANmax enables network appliance consolidation at each of your remote or branch office locations. By improving the efficiency and response time of your existing WAN, remote appliances designed to improve WAN performance (web-caching devices, etc.) are no longer needed at your remote facilities, because those facilities can utilize the corresponding devices from the company’s central data center location.  The QOS, monitoring, and reporting tools that WANmax provides help you eliminate additional devices.
