Most WAN providers promote a particular technology or a particular manufacturer.  This puts their interests – to sell their narrow service or product offering – at odds with your interests – to obtain the best overall solution. 

Trumpet Networks, on the other hand, is technology-neutral and manufacturer-neutral.  We evaluate all available WAN and Internet connection technologies – including microwave, fiber, free space optics, satellite and telco circuits – for every connection and every customer.  Our approach aligns our interests with yours, empowering us to provide the best, lowest-cost option for your specific needs.

Managed Service or Turn-Key Network

As a method to avoid large capital expenditures, we lease WANconnect building-to-building and Internet connectivity (using all available technologies) for a monthly fee.  Alternatively, we design and build turn-key, customer-owned private Wide Area Networks.  Either way, we offer WAN monitoring and alerting and well as localized emergency service through our in-house service group or our network of trusted service partners.

Our Technologies and Solutions

All of our WANconnect solutions support QOS, typically provide 99.999% uptime, and incorporate a range of security features, including 128- and 256-bit AES encryption.

   Microwave 

From the military to mobile carriers, tens-of-thousands of microwave links are in use in the U.S. for mission-critical applications.  We deploy only secure, highly-reliable, carrier-grade microwave connections, typically in the FCC-licensed frequencies.  We frequently provide an SLA of 99.999% availability for our microwave connections.  We commonly deliver simultaneous up/down bandwidth between 50 and 1,250 Mbps or higher for point-to-point connections and up to 20 Mbps speeds for mesh and multipoint WiMAX connections.  

   Private Fiber

We install private fiber through existing conduit, on telephone/electric poles, and through new directionally-bored or trenched conduit.  We can handle virtually any fiber build-out, including turn-key installation, testing, monitoring and service. 

   Telco Circuits 

We offer MPLS, T1, DS3, OCx and other telco connections through the leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecommunications carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, Qwest, Sprint, Global Crossing, XO Communications, and many more. Through our wholesale agreements with each of these carriers, you receive ultra-competitive pricing for every request. 

   Satellite

We offer satellite connections worldwide for an array of applications, from retail chains to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and private IP video communications.  Due to the bandwidth limitations of satellite, our WANmax accelerator is an ideal compliment.

   Free Space Optics 

Using optical lasers, we connect nearby locations with 100 Mbps to 1,250 Mbps speeds quickly and economically.
