Web Access

The camera and DVR functionality of each surveillance and access control network varies based on customer needs, but every customer receives access to an intuitive, browser-based dashboard with robust, user-friendly controls that provide secure user access to:

Managed Service or Customer-Owned Solutions

Trumpet video surveillance and access control solutions are available as a managed service with little or no upfront costs, or as a customer-owned turn-key system. In either case, you receive our relentless commitment to customer satisfaction.

Example of Municipal Network

There are innumerable viable arrangements for most surveillance and access control networks. The following graphic shows one possible arrangement for a mid-sized town. This network provides a 150 Mbps, ring topology backbone for handling, not only evidence-quality video streams and access control data, but also Internet, server-based applications, VoIP and other traffic.

A more robust backbone may be necessary if, for example, the number of cameras or locations increase. We can provide bandwidth of more than 1,000 Mbps with FCC-licensed microwave, free space optics (for short-distance connections) or private fiber.

We offer similar types of surveillance, access control and unified networks not only for municipal and other governmental agencies, but also for school districts, college campuses, industrial and office complexes, health care facilities, and a wide range of business.

Portable/Moveable Solutions

In addition to fixed-camera video surveillance, Trumpet offers portable (moveable) solutions that permit customers to quickly set-up, take down and re-deploy their cameras and accompanying video backhaul equipment to permit remote monitoring.  This saves money and increases effectiveness for applications such as:

  •  Municipal/law enforcement –monitoring festivals and other events that      present risk of petty or serious crime

  •  Construction and Engineering Companies –monitoring jobsites and road      projects

We can employ WANconnect to provide WiMAX or point-to-point microwave connections in the event that a landline Internet or other network connection is not readily available for backhaul.  In the right environment, we can even utilize solar cells for sites that lack power.

Beyond Surveillance

Surveillance systems not only provide enhanced crime prevention and detection, they can be used as an integral part of a company’s marketing or safety programs.  For example, retailers use surveillance video to determine customer traffic patterns in an effort to optimize store layouts or to determine customer reactions to particular displays to determine which displays grab the most customer attention.
